About Us

  • Serve underrepresented groups through academic enrichment and community engagement.

  • The Radical ALLI Center was formed in 2021 as a collaborative effort by co-founders, Lonnie D. Jennings, Akua Wilson and Autumn Francisco to join forces on dismantling systems of oppression through Black feminist epistemology. In 2022, RAC received 501c3 status. RAC has participated in Cincinnati’s National Day of Healing, been a member of United Way of Greater Cincinnati’s Black Empowerment Works Cohort 3, and hosted events such as the “Institute for Justice, Inclusion and Social Change.”

    1. Recruit and engage a membership body of young visionaries and entrepreneurs towards a goal of leveraging their platforms to curate positive social change.

    2. Host workshops and strategy sessions for shared learnings and upskilling.

    3. Facilitate annual direct aid programming.

The Radical ALLI Center was founded on a principle that acquiring self-sufficiency cannot come without respect for community members. Not until we ignore the tricks of our oppressors, can we address the force that prevents us from true autonomy.
— Lonnie D. Jennings, Founding Executive Director

What we do

  • Community Engagement

We prioritize engaging with our membership base through community events and dedicated time through in-person connection or telecommunication.

  • Direct Aid

We look to prioritize at least one direct aid program annually to ground ourselves in uplifting fellow community members.

  • Workshops and Trainings

We facilitate workshop and strategy sessions for current and new members to learn in a peer-to-peer format. Topics have included tactics for allyship, project management, and vision planning.

“Together, we’ve not only amplified underrepresented narratives but also driven tangible action. the goal of our work is to shape policies, expand access to resources, and cultivate leadership within communities too often excluded from decision-making processes. we want to redefine what it means to be in solidarity, by anchoring our shared impact in justice, resilience, and radical love.”

— Olivia M. Riggs, Advocacy Director
